The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), formerly known as Revenue Canada is responsible for the regulation of personal and corporate income tax in most Canadian provinces and territories. 

The CRA administers several social and economic tax programs such as the Child Tax Benefit, Unemployment Insurance, and the Canada Pension Plan.
